Cnc routered drawing based off of a photo from a cousins’ birthday party in Peru. A time of innocence and family. After emigrating, our realities became confusing, unfamiliar, frustrating, challenging, etc. It warms my heart to look back at times like these. We lost so much along the way but we still have these memories of what family was and could be. I wouldn’t change a thing, but I would definitely be easier on myself. Deep down I’m still that 9yo kid. I want to hug him and tell him that he did his best and I’m so grateful for him. Thank you.
